6.5-Inch Mid-Bass Speakers
These mid-bass speakers pump out 400 watts of power, and with standard 6.5-inch sizing, will fit in most OEM locations. A brilliant yellow poly injection cone provides great rigidity and resistance to harsh weather conditions. A non-fatiguing butyl rubber surround and high-temperature aluminum voice coil mean you'll get years of performance without the wear and tear. The speakers are housed in electroplated steel baskets, and boast a 40-ounce magnet.
1/2-Inch Tweeters
The included 100-watt 0.5-inch tweeters have three mounting options and a frequency response from 1.3 to 22 kHz. The neodymium magnet and silk dome construction help enable clear, well-defined high-end. Choose from flush, surface, or angle mounting to optimize your vehicle's mounting locations and get the best possible treble focus.
Passive Crossover Networks
Also included are a pair of passive crossover networks, with a 12 dB octave slope, to separate the signal from your head unit between the mid-bass and tweeter speakers for a richer, more accurate sound.
Easy Installation
A full wiring kit and all the installation hardware you'll need to add this system to your vehicle are included, along with a wiring diagram.

Great kit for the money! Sounds very clean...good tweeters too : Pyle PLG6C 6.5-Inch 400-Watt 2-Way Custom Component System (Pair)
I bought these to go into my 1996 Tacoma Extended Cab.
Unfortunately they didn't fit into the door spaces (without spacers which I hadn't bought and was lazy), since the 6.5" woofer has a very nice large and deep magnet.
So I decided to install them into the side rear panels in the extended cab. They installed in no time, as all necessary pieces are included, including the wires with precrimped ends for both the tweeter and woofer.
I have these running of a JVC MoSFet deck pushing 30X4RMS and they sound great, had to turn the LOUD feature off as the base was rattling the panels, as Toyotas are made of plastic.
I just found out I could have bought some 1" spacers to make the woofers fit in the door...oh well...bought some seperate 3-way speakers for the fronts...probably won't sound as good...we'll just have to see...I am installing the 3-ways tomorrow...
The Pyle woofers look great, with the yellow surround...
You also get 2 different tweeter install options...surface mount (either with double sided tape or screws) or flush mount...
The woofers also come with grill covers and the crossover looks to be built very nice...nothing in here feels or sounds cheap.

Rockford Fosgate T1652 : Rockford Fosgate Power T1652 6.5-Inch Full Range Coaxial Speakers
I got these t1652 speakers for Christmas. They are installed in a 2000 Chevy Impala doors.
Very minor modifications were needed to make them fit behind factory covers.
The system consist of a Kenwood KDC-x995 headunit, RF T400-4 amp, RF t1693s in the rear deck,
and the t1652 in the doors.
The door speaker x'over is set to 70hz and these things absolutely rock. They are super clear
and loud. They handle the 400-4 amp well.
Since the x'over is set to 70hz the bass response is limited, but the mids and highs are awesome.
These speakers well worth the $$ spent on them, and I would have problem buying them again.
If you dont want to put componets in, these are a great alternative.
